Activities of holding companies
The company is engaged in the development, construction, operation and sale of energy plants, mainly in renewable energies. Its head office is located in Zamudio, Spain. The company generates electric energy of renewable origin, essentially based on the promotion and running of wind farms. It includes among its activities all those related to projects of wind power generation, from the screening of sites in the field, through the periods of wind measurement and drawing up of projects, obtaining the permissions and licenses required for construction, the performance of the same, commissioning the installations and the operation of wind farms in service, to the final sale of product Wind Farm. Although its business is focused mainly on wind energy, in the medium term the company aims to attain a total degree of development in its activities as manufacturer and distributor of solar panels and as developer of biomass minihydraulic plants. It is a subsidiary of Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, one of the world's foremost wind turbine manufacturers and the market leader in Spain in their production, sale and installation.
